What is Danish Language 3 Examination?
The Danish Language 3 Examination (Prøve i Dansk 3) is the conclusion to Danish Language 3, Module 5. The level required to pass corresponds to Council of Europe test level B2. You can use the Danish Language 3 Examination, if you want to apply for Danish citizenship or for admission to one of the following programmes:
– Vocational training programmes
– AVU (General Adult Education) courses at centres, so-called VUCs, around the country
– Social and healthcare training programmes
– GIF (Special upper secondary programme for non-Danish speakers)
It is free to sit the Danish Language 3 Examination, if you are enrolled on a Danish Language 3 Course at Speak and registered for Module 3.5. However, you are required to pay a fee to sit the examination, if you are an independent student.
Price and dates for the Danish Language 3 Examination
The Danish Language 3 Examination November/December 2020
Written examination: 17 November
Oral examination: during the period 7–18 December
Registration deadline: 7 September
Price: 1389,- DKK
The Danish Language 3 Examination May/June 2021
Written examination: 18 May
Oral examination: during the period 14 – 25 June
Registration deadline: 8 March
Price: will appear as of January 2021
Preparing for the Danish Language 3 Examination
If you are not enrolled at module 3.5 at Speak, you can register for an intensive brush-up course that prepares you for the written and oral part of the exam.
Where is the examination held?
The Danish Language 3 Examination is held at one of our departments, or close by. We will inform you about the exact location no later than 2 weeks before the examination.
You are required to show a valid photo ID to be admitted for both the written and oral parts of the Danish Language 3 Examination.
How do I get my certificate?
Independent students: You can pick up your certificate at Speak Hellerup. You will receive an e-mail when your certificate is ready.
Course participants: You will receive your certificate at the graduation ceremony at Speak.
Both independent students and course participants are required to show up in person and to show a valid photo ID to pick up/get the certificate.
We will keep your certificate for 1 year.
