Who we are

As a foreigner in Denmark, you will probably agree that you can pave the way to new opportunities if you learn Danish. No matter who you are and where you are headed, it is the language that will take you further.

Our mission is to teach you Danish quickly and efficiently. We can do that on account of our professional expertise and experience. In addition, our teachers meet you where you are in your life at the moment. When they combine their understanding of you and your situation with courses and facilities of the highest quality, a unique learning environment emerges.

At Speak we have:

Some of the fastest completion rates in the country

A grade average above the national average at the state certified exams

Modern facilities in Hellerup, Frederiksberg, Lyngby & Helsingør (Elsinore).

Vocational courses with focus on employment

Our teaching is based on a solid foundation of tried-and-tested methods, and we continuously extend our “toolbox” with new and well-documented teaching methods.

We are one of Denmark’s largest Danish language schools, providing a wide range of courses. This means that you can get on the right course from the beginning – and start learning Danish immediately.

Our school is also created to be a focal point for our students. A place to gather with good energy, offering both space and togetherness and where students motivate, inspire and support each other.

The language takes you further

At Speak, the teaching starts when you step through the door. We speak Danish from day one, so the language quickly becomes part of your everyday life.

It is very important to us that you feel at home in Danish society – at work, at school and wherever you go. That is why we base our teaching on the kind of Danish – both in terms of vocabulary and pronunciation – that you really need to learn.

You can study Danish both during the day and in the evening. We provide intensive, classroom-based courses in Hellerup, Frederiksberg and Lyngby. We also offer online teaching via Skype. We also offer FVU (Preparatory Adult Education) courses in Danish and Mathematics. No matter what course you choose, we will place you with a group of people who are at the same level as you.

We also arrange a wide variety of special courses for students with specific backgrounds, so have a look at our Danish courses, if you are an au pair, a student or employee at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), a medical doctor or if you come from one of the other Scandinavian countries, want one-to-one teaching or would like to know more about our mentoring programmes.
