What is Danish Language 2 Examination?
The Danish Language 2 Examination (Prøve i Dansk 2) is the conclusion to Danish Language 2, Module 6. You can use the Danish Language 2 Examination, if you want to apply for permanent residence and in some cases for Danish citizenship. The Danish Language 2 Examination also provides access to for instance:
– Danish as a second language (beginner’s level)
– AVU (General Adult Education) courses at centres, so-called VUCs, around the country
– Driver training courses
– FIF (preparatory course for immigrants and refugees)
It is free to sit the Danish Language 3 Examination, if you are enrolled on a Danish Language 2 Course at Speak and registered for Module 2.6. However, you are required to pay a fee to sit the examination, if you are an independent student.
Price and dates for the Danish Language 2 Examination
The Danish Language 2 Examination November/December 2020
Written examination: 18 November
Oral examination: during the period 7–18 December
Registration deadline: 7 September
Price: 1389,- DKK
The Danish Language 2 Examination May/June 2021
Written examination: 19 May
Oral examination: during the period 14 – 25 June
Registration deadline: 8 March
Price: will appear as of January 2021
Preparing for the Danish Language 2 Examination
If you are not enrolled at module 2.6 at Speak, you can register for an intensive brush-up course that prepares you for the written and oral part of the exam. Next course will take place in November/December. More info will be posted soon…
Where is the examination held?
The Danish Language 2 Examination is held at one of our departments, or close by. We will inform you about the exact location no later than 2 weeks before the examination.
You are required to show a valid photo ID to be admitted for both the written and oral parts of the Danish Language 2 Examination.
How do I get my certificate?
Independent students: You can pick up your certificate at Speak Hellerup. You will receive an e-mail when your certificate is ready.
Course participants: You will receive your certificate at the graduation ceremony at Speak.
Both independent students and course participants are required to show up in person and to show a valid photo ID to pick up/get the certificate.
We will keep your certificate for 1 year.
