What is Danish Language 2 Examination?
The Danish Language 2 Examination (Prøve i Dansk 2) is the conclusion to Danish Language 2, Module 6. You can use the Danish Language 2 Examination, if you want to apply for permanent residence and in some cases for Danish citizenship. The Danish Language 2 Examination also provides access to for instance:
– Danish as a second language (beginner’s level)
– AVU (General Adult Education) courses at centres, so-called VUCs, around the country
– Driver training courses
– FIF (preparatory course for immigrants and refugees)
It is free to sit the Danish Language 3 Examination, if you are enrolled on a Danish Language 2 Course at Speak and registered for Module 2.6. However, you are required to pay a fee to sit the examination, if you are an independent student.
Please note, that you will receive your written grade, after you have completed the oral test.
Price and dates for the Danish Language 2 Examination
The Danish Language 2 Examination November/December 2019
Written examination: 13 November
Oral examination: during the period 2–13 December
Registration deadline: 2 September
Price: 1362 kr.
The Danish Language 2 Examination May/June 2020
Written examination: 13 May
Oral examination: during the period 8–19 June
Registration deadline: 2 March
Price: will be posted in mid December
Where is the examination held?
The Danish Language 2 Examination is held at Speak Hellerup, Speak Frederiksberg and in Mariendalshallen, Mariendalsvej 21C, 2000 Frederiksberg.
You are required to show a valid photo ID to be admitted for both the written and oral parts of the Danish Language 2 Examination.
