Language support in elderly care

Speak has been providing language support to employees with foreign healthcare education for several years and has supported their language development to be able to start evaluation employment and cope with the language tasks they encounter in everyday life at nursing homes.

The concept of language support for foreign nurses was developed in collaboration with the City of Copenhagen and has now become a well-established programme that has spread to other municipalities.

More municipalities want to collaborate with Speak

Together with Frederiksberg Municipality, we have adapted the concept to the needs and employees working in elderly care here. The concept includes language screening of foreign employees with a foreign healthcare education and practice-oriented healthcare Danish training in small classes at workplaces in Frederiksberg Municipality.

Ballerup Municipality has also chosen Speak to teach their foreign employees with a healthcare degree from their home country.
