Healthcare Danish is for those who work – or want to work – in the healthcare sector in Denmark. The course gives you the language tools you need to communicate confidently and professionally with patients, citizens and colleagues in a busy workday.

 

The teaching is based on real work situations from the healthcare sector. You’ll work with conversations, record keeping, instructions and professional communication to improve your ability to understand and convey important information correctly.

 

We offer targeted programmes for both hospitals and municipalities, where teaching is adapted to the workplace and specific tasks. In addition, we have special programmes for SOSU employees and students with a focus on nursing, care and collaboration in practice.

 

For doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals, we also offer specialised courses such as Medical and Medical Plus, which serve as a supplement to the regular Danish courses. Here you can participate in extra courses such as clinical lectures, OSCE preparation and training for both written and oral exams – all targeted to the demands of the Danish healthcare system.

 

The courses are adapted to different levels and needs and can stand alone or be combined with e.g. FVU.
