FVU Mathematics is a free course for those who want to be better at navigating everyday situations involving numbers, conversions and maths. The teaching is in Danish. The FVU courses are designed to help you perform better at work, in education and everyday life.
What is FVU Mathematics?
In FVU Mathematics, we work with everyday situations that involve numbers in Danish. FVU Mathematics consists of 2 levels:
In level 1, we work with buying and selling, recipes, games, timetables, calendars and working hours.
In level 2, we work with currency, interest, price, discount, weight, temperature, distance, direction, time and date.
Admission requirements
You can start FVU Mathematics once you have passed;
- Danish Education 1, module 5
- Danish Education 2, module 4
- Danish Education 3, module 3
Or are being tested at an equivalent level.
If you are under 25 years old, there are special conditions.
Level test
You can complete FVU Mathematics levels 1 and 2 with an official level examination. If you pass the test, you will receive a test certificate.
