Improve your English skills
FVU English is a free course for those who want to improve their ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
The FVU courses are designed to help you perform better in your work, education and everyday life.
What is FVU English?
FVU English consists of 4 levels. You start at the level that suits your level.
Level 1: Here we work with simple words and phrases.
You learn to talk to others at a slow pace. You’ll start reading and work on formulating short sentences.
Level 2: Here you’ll get to talk a bit more.
In level 2, you’ll expand your vocabulary with commonly used words and you’ll write and understand short messages, such as emails.
Level 3: We work with the language in more detail.
For example, you’ll learn how to search for information in English and you’ll be able to speak more coherently and express your opinion in English.
Level 4: We use the language more actively.
You will be able to use English more actively, for example in the workplace. You practice presenting topics in English and become able to find relevant information in English texts.
Entry requirements for FVU English
You don’t need to know English to start FVU English. But you do need to know Danish equivalent to a passing grade:
Danish language Education 2 module 5
Danish language Education 3 module 4
Or being tested to an equivalent level.
If you are under 25 years old, there are special conditions.
