It is important that you bring the correct ID to PD1.

You can read below what constitutes valid ID.

• Residence card, foreign passport or convention passport issued by a public authority in Denmark.
• Passport or identity card issued by a public authority in an EU/EEA member state or Switzerland.
• Passport issued by a public authority in a country other than those mentioned above, with a residence sticker.

Check well in advance of the test that you have the correct identification. Photocopies or images of the document cannot be used.

You can enrol in PD1 in Hellerup or Helsingør.

You will be notified of the exact meeting place no later than 2 weeks before the exam is held. It is not possible to request a test location other than the one you choose when you register.

For the written exam, you must arrive no later than 1 hour before the exam starts.

It is not possible to use a PC or Mac for the exam.

Once you have participated in PD1, you will receive your exam certificate in your e-Boks no later than 2 weeks after the oral exam.

You can also pick up your original exam certificate at Speak Hellerup up to one year after you have taken the test.

It is free to take PD1 if you are a student at the school and attend module 1.5.

If you are not attending module 1.5, you must pay to take the exam.

If you have a physical or psychological disability, or similar difficulties (for example, if you are dyslexic), you can apply to take the exam using special aids or under special conditions. This could include technical aids, an assistant, extended time, or similar arrangements.

You must register for the exam before you can apply for dispensation.

You apply for dispensation by sending an email to prover@speakspeak.dk. Please attach documentation of your condition (such as a dyslexia test or a medical certificate).

You must submit your application as soon as possible and no later than March 23, 2026, for the summer exams.

The deadline for the winter exams has not yet been determined.
