FVU Level Examinations

You can choose to conclude your FVU course with an FVU level test.

You can use FVU Danish levels 2 and 3 to apply for a permanent residence permit in Denmark.

You can use FVU Danish level 4 to apply for Danish citizenship.

You can use FVU Danish level 4, together with FVU Maths level 2, to apply for a vocational programme.

December

  • Monday 15 December, at 17.00: FVU Danish level 2, 3 + 4
  • Tuesday 16 December, at 17.00: FVU Danish level 1 & FVU Maths level 1 + 2

 

Registration deadline for independent students: 3 November

Price: free of charge

 

FVU Level Examinations 2026

 

March

  • Wednesday 18 March, at 15.00: FVU Danish level 1 + 2
  • Thursday 19 March, at 15.00: FVU Danish level 3 + 4 & FVU Maths level 1 + 2

 

Registration deadline for independent students: 6 February

Price: free of charge

 

June

  • Monday 15 June, at 15.00: FVU Danish level 1 + 2
  • Tuesday 16 June, at 15.00: FVU Danish level 3 + 4 & FVU Maths level 1 + 2

 

Registration deadline for independent students: 4 May

Identification requirements

To participate in an FVU level test, you must present a valid photo ID.

The practicalities

FVU level tests are held at Speak in Hellerup.

It is not possible to use PC or Mac for the test.

If you pass the test, you will receive your test certificate in your e-Boks. It is VUC Lyngby that issues and sends the certificate.

How to sign up

If you are an FVU student at Speak, you sign up with your teacher.

 

If you are an independent student, you can register by email to FVU counsellor Anne Marie Ladefoged: ala@speakspeak.dk.

 

NB: To enrol as an independent student, you must be able to show proof of passing the previous level – or you must be screened for the test level.

We only accept registrations from independent students who live in one of these municipalities: Gladsaxe, Lyngby, Gentofte, Rudersdal, Ballerup or Frederiksberg.
