Danish lessons in classes

This summer course will prepare you for your future life, studies and career in Denmark. Many Danes speak English – but Danish can give you even more out of life in Denmark.

The Danish course is part of the official Danish Language Programme and ends with a module test (except the first half of module 3). If you wish, you can continue the module or the next module from September at DTU or at one of our branches in Greater Copenhagen or Helsingør.

In addition to the Danish lessons, we will also invite you to social events and weekly sightseeing trips during the course period.

Classes take place at the DTU campus in Lyngby.

Danish language education 3

Our summer courses at DTU are organised on Danish Language Education 3, which consists of 5 + 1 modules. Each module ends with a module test. The courses follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages CEFR.

Deposit

You are generally entitled to free Danish language training for 5 years after you arrive in Denmark.

If you are self-supporting, you must pay a deposit of DKK 2.000,- before you can start. You can get your deposit refunded – or transferred to the next module – if you pass the module within the set time frame.

If you do not pass the module within the time frame, you will lose your deposit and will have to pay a new deposit if you wish to continue on the next module.
