What are specialised classes?
Specialised classes are small classes of max 6 students, where the teaching programmes are individually adapted. Specialised classes are taught by teachers with many years of expertise in teaching traumatised adults. Special attention is paid to the individual’s prerequisites, individual learning strategies and difficulties with memory and fatigue. Thus, the content is customised to the resources and potential of the learners in each session.
Danish Language Education 1, 2 & 3
Teaching in specialised classes is based on the Executive Order on Danish Language Training for Adult Foreigners, and we offer all 3 Danish language courses and modules. Participants must be able to pass module tests on an ongoing basis. Where possible, students are transferred from specialised classes to regular classes. We also endeavour to ensure that students complete their Danish language education with a Danish Language Exam.
Criteria for joining a specialised class
- Participants are diagnosed or in a clarification process before starting a specialised class
- Participants are assessed as suitable for specialised classes through an interview/test at the language centre
- There must be an agreement between the municipality and Speak
There is an ongoing intake for specialised classes
